As part of the partnership agreement signed between the Kingdom of Morocco and France for the development of the gaming industry and the ecosystem of cultural and creative industries during the Morocco Gaming Expo 2024, the Video Game Incubator program has been launched to support and elevate the Moroccan video game industry to an international level.
This innovative program, spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication of Morocco, the French Embassy in Morocco, and the French Institute of Morocco, aligns with the Ministry’s strategy for advancing the gaming industry in Morocco. It is particularly tied to the ambitious Rabat Gaming City project, which aims to establish Rabat as a major hub for the gaming industry in Africa and globally.
Objectives of the Program :
- Support Moroccan video game entrepreneurs in structuring, developing, and sustaining their businesses in a rapidly growing sector.
- Enhance the skills of Moroccan video game startups according to international standards.
- Strengthen synergies among the various stakeholders in the gaming industry ecosystem, both nationally and internationally.
This incubation program targets Moroccan video game production companies seeking tailored support.

Are you a Moroccan startup specializing in video game production? Are you passionate, motivated, and working on an ambitious project in the gaming industry? The Video Game Incubator program is designed for you!

Who can apply?
The program is open to registered startups with a Moroccan commercial registration number and a project with a clear ambition in the video game industry.
Selection Criteria:
- Business project: Your project must focus on the video game sector.
- Video game production: Your project should involve the production of relevant video games aligned with economic and market contexts.
- Entrepreneurial initiative : Applicants must demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial commitment.
- Motivation: Full engagement in the program is essential and decisive.
Application Procedures:
- Submit your application as a single PDF file in your company’s visual identity format, detailing the following:
- Company Overview: (Main and secondary activities, History, Team, previously developed video games (if any), Key partners, financial details)
- Detailed Project Pitch: (Vision, Objectives, Development plan)
- Team Presentation: (CVs of team members, References for previously developed video games (if applicable)
- Links to Existing Production Elements:(Prototypes, demos, trailers, or artistic assets for ongoing projects)
- Needs, Expectations, and Motivations: (Outline your goals and what you hope to gain from the incubation program.)
Administrative Documents :- Model J (proof of legal establishment)
- Financial statements for the last two years
- Declaration of Commitment: A sworn statement ensuring availability to participate in the program from March to September 2025
Selection Process:- Application Submission: Applications will be evaluated based on the required documents (refer to the application form) submitted on the moroccogamingindustry.ma platform by a jury of video game industry experts.
- Motivational Interview: Pre-selected applicants will be invited to an interview to present their project, motivations, and commitment to the program.
Each startup must commit to this program with a number of hours distributed as follows:
- 247 hours of collective sessions (Theoretical, applied courses, conferences).
- 43 hours of individual sessions per project.
