Morocco confirms its position as an emerging nation in esports by participating in the Arab Esports Championship, which will take place from 24 to 27 September 2025 in Amman, Jordan. This participation follows the successful qualification of the national team through the eDawry 2025 national qualifiers, organized under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FRMJE).

These representatives will proudly carry the national colors with determination, aiming to position Morocco among the top Arab nations in esports.
During the second edition of the Morocco Gaming Expo (MGE 2025), held from 2 to 6 July 2025 at the Palais des Sports, Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, five startups were selected as part of the Huawei Cloud Gaming Program. The selected startups are Octav Studio, Kokoro Games, Geek Culture Agency, Yaaz Company, and AB Progress.
The official announcement of the selected startups was made on the sidelines of the expo, highlighting Morocco’s growing commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the video game industry and digital sectors.
The Free Fire Battle of Morocco 2025 Championship concluded in Casablanca at the Mohammed V Stadium, delivering an electrifying atmosphere and a thrilling finale. The RAVENS Team showcased complete dominance, securing the championship title with distinction and cementing their status as one of the leading teams on the national scene. This achievement reflects the remarkable growth of the esports sector in Morocco and highlights the rising presence of Moroccan players both locally and regionally.
As part of the major initiative launched by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication – Communication Department, aimed at developing the gaming and esports industry, and under the auspices of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FRMJE), the eDawry 2025 championship has recently concluded and the finals took place on Saturday, August 30, at the Casablanca Cathedral.
The Free Fire tournament finale ended with WASK ESPORT team (from the RBM Esport association) claiming first place. AMATERAS team (from the KAC Esport association) secured second place, while Ja7im Esports team (from the ANOKHBA Esport association) completed the podium in third place.
For Street Fighter 6, DARKWORD (from the Victorious Demons association) took first place. OS.NOURYU (from the Zvex Esport association) earned second place, while WOLFMAN (from the Wydad Esport association) finished third.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Department of Communication, Morocco hosts, the grand finale of the Free Fire Battle of Morocco 2025 this Saturday, September 6, at the Mohammed V Olympic Arena in Casablanca.
The event is organized by Garena, the official publisher of its flagship game Free Fire, and represents a major milestone for the national esports scene. Following online and offline qualifying rounds in several cities across the Kingdom, twelve teams compete for a cash prize of 100,000 MAD in front of a large audience celebrating both competition and community spirit. This edition underscores the growing momentum of Morocco’s video game industry and confirms the strong interest of young talents in pursuing esports careers.
Rabat hosted a week-long training program in video game ibdustry at the Yaacoub El Mansour Youth Center. The sessions were led by Créajeux Institute, one of France’s leading institutions in gaming education.
This program was organized in partnership between the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the French Institute in Morocco.
